Christmas Eve

I am so proud! I did 25 minutes today on the brand *NEW* Treadmill that my dad got for my mom for Christmas. Then I did an ab and arm workout! I am preparing for a relay race in July...silly me! We have an elliptical, but I don't like it as much because it doesn't feel like I am really running. I feel like I am riding a bike/running. I have shin splints and joint problems, so it is hard for me to start running, but it gets better after I get used to running more. So I need to run on something that doesn't feel like I'm floating...hence why I love the treadmill! It gets me closer to what the real road feels like.

After I did my workouts, my dad and I went to deliver presents to the May family in Duvall. It was snowing like CRAZY and we had to wait 15 minutes for these two cars to get up a hill by our house. The roads were pretty bumpy, but it was good to be able to get out of the house. We have been trapped in the house for days because of the constant snow storm conditions we have had. It is ridiculous and is by far the most snow we've had before....The Mays liked their gifts. They gave me 2 cute Gap scarves and some gloves. :) It was good to see them. I gave Ben a remote control Tarantula! He loved it...so funny!

We went to the grocery store on the way home and while we were in there the power went out. This was my first time being in the store with no power. It was quite hysterical. People were gasping and freaking out...funny! When we got home my mom was cooking...she had been cooking all day making Gumbo and Potato Salad...the BEST! We realized that the church service we had wanted to go to was moved up from 11pm to 7pm and we had to hurry and finish cooking so we could leave. I always love going to Christmas Eve Mass...Our church (we go to occasionally) got a new pastor...he was funny!

When we got home we ate our dinner and opened a present. Christmas pajamas. Then we played Scrabble together. My dad always takes FOREVER to make his moves...so it lasted a while.

I have got sucked into the Twilight obsession...except I wouldn't say that I am obsessed. I am actually reading a book and read it every night before bed. Which I feel the book is calling my name right now! Merry Christmas!
